PAX East is the largest gaming event on the East Coast, and is held in person at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for the first time in two years.
“If you have any interest in any part of the gaming niche, like now, we have it here. We have board games; we have game content panels; we have celebrities in the gaming space,” the vice president of content and media said by Penny Arcade Ryan Hartman.
“Here, I come with my friends, having a good time. He decided to dress up for the first time. It was a lot of work, “said Yuri Mendonca, an assistant at PAX East.

“I came here to broaden my horizons. I wanted to learn more about the gaming industry,” said assistant Imani Bell of North Carolina.
Tens of thousands of people are expected during the four days of the show, with badges for Saturday sold out.
“Mandatory masks, vaccine checks so you can get your bracelet,” Hartman said. “The most important thing about it was, how, would it feel like a normal PAX? And it does. It feels as big and fantastic as it ever has here.”
Vendors come from all over to attend the fair and say that the opportunity to showcase your products in person and have them tested by a crowd of players is very valuable for business. This includes the Framingham Wise Wizard Games exhibitor.
“Conventions are essential for business. It’s about showing customers the games. People love it when they play our games, but you have to put them in front of people, “said Rob Dougherty, CEO of Wise Wizard Games.
